Ready to hit the streets and glittery lights?

Get on I-515 S/US-93 and keep straight till you hit Boulder City Pkwy.

We’re taking you to Boulder City, NV ?

Just a short 40-minute drive from Las Vegas away from the fluorescent lights, stars and unpaved roads calling your name….

First stop: Lake Mead Visitor Center. Get all the answers to your park questions, and it’s history, and things to do.

Next: Want to stretch your legs some more? Or get a more scenic view? Check out the Historic Railroad Hiking Trail! It’s an easy hike, dog-friendly, and has a fantastic view of the Hoover Dam, what else could you ask for?

Fun Fact: This section of the railroad was used in the motion picture “The Gauntlet,” starring Clint Eastwood and Sondra Locke for a sequence in which they were on a motorcycle being chased by an assassin in a helicopter.

The main event: Black Canyon River Adventures!! The Black Canyon formed over millions of years by volcanic activity, lies just below the mighty Hoover Dam. You can tour the Hoover Dam or the Black Canyon Raft tour or rent a canoe or kayak for a self-guided tour.

Hoover Dam Postcard Tour

A short sweet and to the point tour where you’ll view the Hoover Dam, the bypass bridge, and journey just far enough downriver to feel the canyon’s surreal setting.

It takes about 1-hour ½ on the Colorado River. Snacks are provided ?. Call 800-455-3490 for reservations.

Black Canyon Raft tour – Regular Run

The Black Canyon Raft Tour departs from the Lake Mead RV Village in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. You’ll go through the historic Black Canyon with a beach stop for lunch before arriving at Willow Beach Marina – on the northern reaches of Lake Mohave.

Tour takes about 3 hours on the Colorado River with meals and beverages provided.

Watercraft Rentals

Explore the Black Canyon region with a canoe or kayak rental from Willow Beach Marina. Be sure to reserve online so that when you arrive, you can just get out on the water!

To end your day: Camp with us!

Instead of driving off into the sunset and back to the hustle and bustle of the city – drive to Willow Beach’s campground and RV park. Here you can rest, replenish from the adventurous day, and start it all again tomorrow ?
